i'am looking for the location of the save game files and also the language files on MacOS. Unlike the Steam-Version i can't find it under Library/Application Support/Pillars....

Where are they located?

System ▸ user ▸ myname ▸ Library ▸ Application Support

It's ~/Library/Application Support/Pillars of Eternity/Saved Games for me.

Don't know if I'm telling you something you already know, but the user library folder is usually hidden. You can access it by opening a Finder window, then pressing shift + cmd + g and entering ~/Library into the popup dialog.

I don't have a Pillars of Eternity folder under Application Support. Did this change in later updates?

Not that I know of.

Are you looking in the right Library folder? You need the one in your user directory.
