Beginning to think I may shelve the game until Obsidian puts out another (or two) patches. Problems I've had (whilel starting some 10 or so new games):
1) crash when attempting to enter Gullet from the East Exit at Queen's Bounty. I eventually got in after I went back the Defiant,& explored various islands. Once I hit the port, I chose to go to Gullet directly rather than Queen's Bounty. Have only experienced the crash once, mainly because the rest of my games involved dealing with the Principi first.
2) After installing the patch & Gaun's Pledge DLC, I started a new game and discovered Irene (?) wasn't trapped under the barrel on the Defiant. Nor did she appear afterwards...Started another game after that, and she was there.
3) Second Wind: takes forever to cast/enact/whatever … 90% of the time the character dies before the ability takes effect.
4) "Loading POE1": it seems to only see a "lighthouse" save (some days into the game); it has never displayed any of the endgames I have....Obsidian, let me browse and select.
And my biggest gripe so far:
The "walk through the In-Between": allow people to kill it. Sure, I can understand wanting to set a mood, a context. But, if I've already started a new game, I don't need to see the pretty graphics. I want to be to start creating my PC, I would also like to see which abilities/talents I've already selected
