No, this is not intelligent. What is happening is that because of this silly machanic, your characters are *permanently* buffed, no matter what labours or hardship they go through. A good night's rest and a full belly gives a temporary boost, even in real life. These buffs are not temporary, because they constantly overlap. It is simply nuts.

Is a "cubboard" where you keep your cubs?

This game is pretty buggy now, but I have faith they will eventually get resolved. In the meantime, I plan on playing ahead and seeing where I get recruits (I heard there were 8 - I've only found 4 so far), try to remember where the great loot is hidden, and just try to understand the game system better for my next playthrough (which I'd been planning anyways).

I wish I had built my wizard a little differently, spent lvl points elsewhere. This gives me a chance to create a better wizard next time. I've heard there is no rogue companion, so I will most likely create a stealth wizard next time - with a better understanding of main attributes at character design. Knowing the game better I'll also up the diff from normal to hard.

You didn't even bother to read what you wrote.
You didn't refer to a bug, but to the temporary bonus, which is properly removed after resting.

Traveling is HARD; resting at a comfy INN means you get the benefits of all those luxuries and just like nutrition, a good night's sleep for one night can improve your next few nights, even when those following aren't the best nights sleep.
I'm guessing the majority of the benefit is derived from the nutrition you can get while there.

The benefits wear off one bonus at a time, per rest; since there are only two bonuses per rest, this means two rests to get rid of them.
They are also immediately replaced by any new one you get.
If it was as you say and we lose those buffs over the course of two rests, it would be fine. As it is, I've rested around four or five times in a dank crypt just to see if it would wear off, but nothing. They stayed until I went to the inn and rested in a room without any buffs. As stated earlier, it could be tied to difficulty. I'm playing on normal for my first run. Maybe this is a design choice. I will try not to rest in the inn and see how long it takes to wear off.

Don't be such an arsehole. You are just looking for faults. Get on with it; I don't have time to argue with fools.

I don't think it's tied to difficulty, as I use the same difficulty.. normal.
That is a bug.

You screwed up and are just becoming pointlessly hostile because you are wrong.
I genuinely believe you just want things that are nice about the game to be messed up.

You bore me.
My party contracted the plague a few hours ago.
The 1.0.3 and 1.0.4 patches removed the plague.
