Right. You might get the patch to work if you delete the entire game, re-download the 8GB game install files & run those, then try the patch again. And download backer files as well.

How do you make sure your save games are saved anyway?

Also, great job, GOG. I can see now why you need the extra days to take a functioning patch and get it posted to your site.
