I just installed the patch on my mac and it works for me
game build is now 1.0.3.0524

How were you able to install it? I got an error saying that the patch would work on my game version, but there IS no other version than the release version.

No luck here either - "This patch will not work with your game version" :(

My game version is - v1,0,2,0508

OK, I tried re-downloading the whole game (without bonus stuff) again then applied the patch and it works.
Maybe the version with the bonus items/pet creates the problem?

I have the same issue when installing the mac patch, a window pops up with the message "this patch will not work with your game version" (game version 1.0.2.0508)

Do this it works fine.

1. Delete game.
2. install game, no need to re download.
3. Install patch.
3. install pre order bonus items if you have them

Enjoy.

Well THAT'S a pain in the ass. Can you still install the bonus items after patching it?

Because OS X was never a priority when it comes to the gaming demographic.

After deleting my original version and reinstalling, then applying the patches, the game will not launch. I get an error saying the application is damaged and should be moved to the trash.
