vv221: I just realized official Linux patches for PoE are not downloadable anymore.
Yeah, whats going on there? They seem to change policy every month :(

Is there some interest to see the unofficial patches for the base game come back, in addition to the patches for TWM, part 1?
Sure, if it is not much of hassle, it would be very welcome!
PoE 2.03 has gone live on GOG, I’ll be working on new patches tonight.
I’ll try to provide patches for both the base game and the extension. If you use the extension you will need to install *both* of them: the patch for the base game first, the one for the extension afterwards.

I’ll update the instructions on my website to make it clear.
Patches are now ready, and should allow to update *any* version of PoE (with or without TWM1) to 2.03.
I’ll put them online when the new instructions are written, that could be any time during the week-end depending on my free time and motivation.
Patches for 2.03 version of both Pillars of Eternity and its extension are now live!
What patch should i choose if my version is 1.0.2.0508 (initial release)?

EDIT: Sorry, just found out. Thanks.

De rien et you’re welcome ;P
update

New patches have been uploaded, allowing to update PoE to version 3.02.1008.
As usual, you will find separate patches for the base game and each part of the expansion, so you won’t have to download more data than you really need.

Following advice from Gatsu on ubuntu-fr.org, I added the .torrent files to a couple open trackers. The main difference for you will be that the download via BitTorrent should now start nearly instantly, instead of taking sometimes more than one full hour before finding the first peer.

I wanted to re-start the game, but found that latest-and-greatest 3.02 isn't supported by IEMod yet, gog doesn't seem to keep anything but latest versions around, and I've already removed old 2.7.0.10 I've had.

rdiff deltas can't be applied in reverse direction, and my only options here (to have the mod) is wait or torrent older release, right?
Want to be wrong on this.

Edit: or update/rebuild the mod in question, I guess.

I still have some old installers, and should be able to build a custom patch allowing to downgrade version 3.02 of the game to 2.03, 3.00 or 3.01. Interested?
