So, I'll probably finally finish PoE1 AND White March next week. It was a fun ride, and I'm really looking forward to Deadfire.

Now, I don't really want to flat out transfer my character. I played a monk, and I'm itching to try something new for Deadfire. Is there a way to like transfer the characters decisions, his story from PoE1 over, while actually roling up a new character?

In the beginning you start a dream-like journey. When you eventually get to the Pallid Knight and are instructed to sit down you'll get the option of 'Import POE1 Save File’. If, for some reason, this doesn't work, or you've lost your POE1 save file, you get a questionnaire that covers all the POE1 decisions that effect the Deadfire game.

Ah, so if I do NOT import an old PoE1 save, I can answer some questions and try to get as close to my actual PoE1 decisions as I want (or as I CAN, as my memory isn't the greatest anymore).
