ralphrepo: Truth be told, I was simply amazed at how extensively rich the story line is in terms of various social constructs; I've taken college courses in cultural anthropology that pale by comparison; I feel like I'm reading a master's level thesis with this game. Kudos to the story writers.
Fenixp: That sounds like an interesting point of view on the storyline, would you care to create a new spoilerific topic and elaborate? You'd sure as hell get at least one reader.
Given the varying religious, ethnic, cultural and economic interests of the various factions, that alone accounts for an intensively immersive story line in and of itself, never mind the sword and sorcery or fantasy aspect. In many respects, this is not dissimilar to the motivations of the modern world and how history has shaped it.
And thank you, but no, I rather not go into any more detail; it would feel too much like writing another college paper and I've had enough nightmares over them already, LOL...
