Here we go again. I am playing the 2. level of the "Ramses II" mini-campaign in the Cleopatra expansion. The introduction says, that my troops from the previous level will join me if I build a fort for them, The thing is, I build a fort, but they do not show up. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance.

There is a bug in Cleopatra where, if you play a mission that has troop carry over, and you don't build the forts immediately at that point (ie, you quit out of the game, or save/reload), the troops will not enter, because the game "forgets" that the mission is a troop carry over mission. The only solution to this is to replay the whole previous mission and rebuild the troops: reloading the previous mission and playing again will not work.

EDIT: nwm, I understood it now.

Sorry, I have another question - so I have to replay the first mission in one "sesion"?

That's correct, you'd have to play the whole first mission in one go, start the next mission, place the forts and let the troops come in, then continue normally. This is the same you would have to do for any mission containing carry over troops (but in some cases, it works, others it doesn't, and in some cases, it may not even matter).
