I`ve noticed this. They click their fingers and some foreign writing pops up. I wondered what that was. I don`t mind, since it`s realistic, but I would prefer if they spoke audibly in their foreign language.

Excellent catch. I haven't looked at it yet but I'm pretty sure you're right and the language of the country the embassy is located in was used while in this particular case that setting should be overridden as English, obviously. Will forward this.

Was unsure if it qualifies as a tech issue or an ingame bug...

This morning, in less than 1 hour, i got this fatal error crash multiple times (screenshot included)

Game suddenly freezes with a little window error popup on top of the game, titled as "The UE4-IWTB Game has crashed and w..." (window cannot be resigned so dont get it full) And in the window itself, the only message is "Fatal Error!"

From what i could see, it occurs mostly when disposing of a body or when the camera moves swiftly from one character to another (even if they are not very far away from each others). But it is not systematic. Reloading the game at same spot and i would say same action (disposing of same body or whatever) will trigger the crash like 4 times out of 5.

As said, only started happening this morning, within first hour of play.
The past few days, i had been playing for 4 hours or 4 hours and a half straight many times (including twice same day) and i never ever had this strange error occuring.

Build is GOG build 22960, 64bit.
No hardware of software change were made on the computer between yesterday and today

If it falls on tech issue rather than ingame bug, then sorry about that... Though it only occurs during tactical layer, and i have so far no issue on world map and hideout management layer.

Have you updated the game to version 1.0.3? (setup_phantom_doctrine_1.0.3_(64bit)_(23103).exe is the latest offline build version).

Well, when i wrote the message, the files/patches were not displaying in the available downloads in my library (was probably a refresh issue ?) or i wouldnt have bothered anyone about mentionning any problem without applying them first, tbh.

Now, what mostly puzzled me was that from one day to another (so, on same build version and computer) it suddenly occured that often.

Strange fact is (as i am still downloading the patches atm), since this morning, i turned VSync on, which i usuallynever do, as i was made aware it could sometime helps in many strange gpu issues... and i did not have any similar crash then in 3 hours of play (compared to 15 crashes within a single hour)

I will, however, turn vsync back off once i'll have applied patches, so that i could let people know wether it is a "now fixed" issue, or if it is still a yet unadressed problem. (and so, with a possible workaround, it would seem :) )

It should be fixed in version 1.0.3 by now :) Please make sure you have the latest version of the game and see if you still have issues when pressing Shift + Tab :)
Hi, I believe this is a bug. One of my agents was left behind and was captured. He was being interrogated by the beholders and was increasing heat by 5. I was later able to attack a cell and rescue the agent, however the game is still showing that he is being interrogated and is costing me 5 heat per hour. I have tried interrogating the agent, and am unable to brainwash the agent.

Edit: Was able to get rid of the heat by executing the agent.

Hello,

I'm experiencing severe bug reports to where at this state it is currently unplayable. I cannot udpate to the latest version (1.03) without the progress immediately halting at 65.1% or 71% and then having GOG's client crashing. I can cease the client to stop the update, however when I go into the game and end my turn, I receive this fatal error in the screenshots attached.

Please help? Thanks. Running on Windows.

Win10, game was installed from the Galaxy, first run, unable to start a new game because of lockdown on a brightness selection screen. Slider unresponsive, button unresponsive, the music plays. Waited a bit, closed the application, tried anew. No changes.
Made a recheck with a Galaxy - all is seemingly well. Tried anew - the same shit. Turned off Galaxy overlay - still nothing. On a 5th or 6th attempt the slider was still completely unresponsive, but the button "continue" suddenly worked out and I was able to start.

I presume many buyers in my shoes would claim a refund.
I had the event that one of my agents was getting paranoid. Lacking any money at the time, I just told her to go and talk to a shrink about it. Some time later I got the event that she had gone AWOL, and had two options. One to pay a cleaner to solve the issues she'd created, one to say that we couldn't afford it and just let things be. I was still broke, so couldn't pick the 'pay the cleaner', but the other option was also grayed out, so I was stuck, and had to alt f4 out of the game. I was playing CIA and it was shortly after the Story Mission where Turncoat gets his name.

I had this exactly same bug concur just a few minutes ago! Feels like that event itself is a bit bugged..
Well, hopefully they'll take a look at this soon.
After updating to 1.0.4 I sometimes get civilians that move during my turn. Can not imagine that this is intended behavior.
Game runs on second monitor (which is not the primary monitor)
Can't get pass the brightness adjustment window (can't click continue)
