The sale this weekend said Perimeter is being pulled from active sale, but it also says that might want to download backup copies. I've purchased the game. Will it be removed from the 'my games' section or just from new sales?

I do have my copy backed up, but I don't like stuff I've purchased just disappearing. Thanks for the help.

I wouldn't worry, I still have "Hostile Waters: Antaeus Rising" in my catalog, that game was pulled a few years back.

I believe GOG have stated they couldn't guarantee anything in these cases, as it's the license owner's descision. But AFAIK no game has disappeared from my download list. But I would backup just in case.

That would be very weak if they did and I would seriously consider abandoning GOG (after downloading all my games). If this happens, what would prevent something like this from happening to all of the games you own? How long are GOG's contracts good for anyway?
GOG has said many, many times that normally the games that are pulled are just pulled from sale and not anyone's account they only add the whole be sure to make backups as a precaution for the worse case scenario that a rights holder manages to force them to remove the game from the libaries of those who purchased the game which has yet to ever happen the key word being yet.

but just in case you need to hear it from a GOG staffer
