This could be a Galaxy launcher problem but we will reupload newest version of Patron to GoG and if that doesn't fix the issue then you need to contact GoG support and see if the Galaxy launcher is the problem.

This file is part of Microsoft Visual C++ 2013. So you should install the two packages linked below.
The downloads are directly from Microsoft.

Visual C++ 2013 (x64)

I have installed the missing libary from Microsoft site, but it won't work.

The game starts to the main menu and crashes after 2 seconds, without any input from my side, the log file has the following ERROR:


Error! Failed to instantiate discord core! err 4

Did you try to disable "Discord Interface" in "Options" > "General" (it's at the end)?

That option can be changed in the launcher menu. Just run the "GameLauncher.exe"

I hace changed the Discord settings in the GameConfigurationDefault.cfg:
CHC_DISCORD 0

So this error doesn't apears again in the log files, but the title crashes instant and the launcher after 1-2 seconds in main menu

That's true, on the older pc from my son it runs, but i wann aplay it on my pc if possible ;)


The new pc has win11 and a way better grafic card, the older pc from my son ~8 years old has win 10

Your log files look pretty similar to the ones from myself, so nothing to see here, I guess.
I'm also on Windows 11 with a 4060 so that shouldn't be the problem.

You could try to install all available Visual C++ versions and also DirectX 9. It's possible that the game still needs some libraries that are missing from your system.

Also, don't install your games to the "Program Files" folder. Sooner or later that will lead to problems with some games.

I installed the visual C++ and directX9 from your last post, but no change, the game crashes instant after opening the main menu from launcher, Patron.exe self doesn't work.

Short question, do you, or anybody else have the same issue with other open windows, they changed position, mostly moved from left side a bit to the right side? Or is this an issue about a second monitor, or windows resolutuon?

Did you try to launch the game without Galaxy running in the background?
If yes, I'm out of possible solutions now, sorry. :(

I never experienced your moving windows issue, though I'm a single monitor user so it could be possible that it's about the second screen.
