Is there any possibilities that original russian version would be distributed by GOG.com?

The rightholder of Russian version is Buka (the original game publisher). I think that GOG is not interested in making deals with them (waste of money and lack of potential audience). Make a petition if you like, I'll sign it :)

Is there any russificator? Subtitles at least will be great.

I'm completely sure that Russian version of Pathologic should be released on GOG. It's such big loss for all russian speaking community on GOG!

Hi guys,

Unfortunately, we cannot release the Russian version of Pathologic due to legal issues beyond our control. If those ever get untangled, we will get you the Russian version of the game. Sorry if I can't be of more help :/

Any chance this Russian version has more comprehensible English subtitling? I adored what I read about this game, but I just couldn't play through it. And I'm normally amused by sketchy translations.

Well, I think there was a fan translation project but I think it fell by the wayside :/

Ice-Pick is going to make a remake of Pathalogic due to release it in 2015. It will contain a proper English translation.

Developers are very open to russian community (since they're russian company :) ) and try to answer their questions as much as they can via social network.
In february/march 2014 they will start a kickstarter campaign to support a Pathalogic remake.

Question, could you ask at the forum if they plan to have an English version ready at the time of release? When I say release I mean typical 1.0 version or retail, not an alpha, beta or any kind of test versions.
