Sorry, am I blind or are we again disadvantaged compared to the Steam users and have no access to the new beta patch? :(

Good question. I cannot tell and there is currently no active developer monitoring these forums.

I have messaged a developer from Owlcat Games to take care of the matter.

You have to have to be part of the Beta Team. You will get a unlock password.

1) You have to use GoG Galaxy to access the beta builds.

2) In GoG Galaxy, on the game page, click the 3 little slider symbols

3) click on Manage game installation.

4) Select the correct Beta Channel to access, and use the password to access the Beta Build..


Don't be in too much of a hurry, several problems with the 1.1.0 Beta so far. it will be updated with a few fixes before it is released to the normal channels!

Beta Channels are by default Off and you can add a Private (Beta) Channel but for which you require a PASSWORD. No PASSWORD -> No Beta.

In Steam, all you must do is switch the Beta from 'none' to 'betatest - Betatest version'. No Password required.

You seem to have a lot of knowledge about that part of the game. And you are keeping tending the pinned changelog thread. I hope if Owlcat Games get some time they will make someone as active as you a moderator to guide the (neglected) GOG.com WotR community.

GOG second rate customers as usual. We lucky they even update the game for us over here.

Whenever I start to feel that way I remember this: If they did not give updates at all then they would stop getting customers over here on gog.

So yes, sometimes it seems bad but then I remember they would not be able to sell there games here if they were not providing updates. Wither the gog team stopped doing business with them for a breach of trust issue or the gog customers stopped buying their games the end result would be no more sales on gog.com.

Cold comfort when it can take another day or five, but it will still happen if they wish to continue doing business here.

My game just updated to 1.1.0 i.16 via GOG Galaxy, so it is out there now.

With that invitation: top priority for most users on GOG.com who contribute to the forums here are the offline installers. Are we going to get them for the latest patch at the same time like Galaxy users or do we have to wait longer for them?

In the past sometimes we had to wait about a week for patches to be availabe as offline installers - a source of frustration since it feels non-Galaxy-users are in a disadvantage.

Both the install files, and both update patch and the Hotfix patch are available.

Hi when I go to configure it shows a beta channel option but no drop down tab just that its disabled. do i need to run GOG Galaxy as Admin?
