mparanoid: I also tried running it from outside GoG directly from exe. Nothing.

Cookiie: Could you please check if it generated a new crashdump?
Not in the WOTR folder, but I did also find some crashdumps in AppData\Local\CrashDumps

Hello, I seem to have a similar issue, but the game crashes only after the loading bar with the *game* icon finished. After the second attempt I get a window about reporting the error to the developers, but before I can agree it crashes again (with a black screen, loud fan noises and parts of the soundtrack). I have uploadedd my most recent crash dump but i'm not allowed to post links?

olivierd: I was finally able to locate the crash dumps on my machine here's the link: https://we.tl/t-dVfoN7IMa3

BTW, it was located in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\CrashDumps

Cookiie: Thank you!
It's in C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Local\Temp\Owlcat Games\Pathfinder Wrath Of The Righteous\Crashes for me.

We took a look at the crashes and it's Galaxy64.dll crashing, which is the overlay module. This is as weird as it could get. Did anyone try turning overlay off, restarting Galaxy, and trying launching the game again?

I was able to launch the game, however, I'm not sure of what I did to solve it.

1. Make sure all overlays are disabled (GOG, AMD, Steam, ...)
2. Close GOG Galaxy and restart it
3. Delete the C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Local\Temp\Owlcat Games\Pathfinder Wrath Of The Righteous
4. Delete the c:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\Temp\Owlcat Games folder
5. Restart the game and smash the left mouse button of my mouse until I reached the menu

My guess is the first two steps, since overlay may linger in the Glaxy's process.

Everyone, please try it out!

I would try, except now it's refusing to log me back into gog and saying something went wrong. This is a whole other level of BS.

Check your Task Manager please, there might be a duplicate process of GOG's client.

There isn't. I tried rebooting too. It's just not letting me in.

That's something with GOG client. From personal experience, I can suggest downloading their setup file and trying repairing the installation (or just installing it again).

Regardless of me not being able to log back into gog, apparently turning off the overlay and then closing gog did do the trick because running directly from .exe works now. How fucking weird is this.

Phew, I am glad the game is working for you now! My guess is it disables the check from the GOG API thus the game starts fine now.

Anyway,@Cookiie, thanks for your help!
I don't remember a developer answering so quickly in the GOG forums.

My thanks as well.
P.S. The GoG login thing is apparently not on my end, but a widespread problem right now. I guess today's just not my lucky day :p
So I've disabled the overlay and restarted and it's still crashing immediately. I get as far as the loading screen for a second and boom.
