olivierd: Already tried that, as I though a video might be causing the issue.
The only difference is that before the crash, the screen that I see is the "Pathfinder War of the Righteous" logo.
In the Player.log file, I still have the exact same error at the exact same line (except for the UnloadTime):

UnloadTime: 0.543300 ms
[MonoSingleton] There is no object of type Kingmaker.Settings.Graphics.ApplicationFocusObserver. Creating new.
[MonoSingleton] There is no object of type Kingmaker.Utility.CoroutineRunner. Creating new.
Cannot Prepare a disabled VideoPlayer
(Filename: Line: 315)

If you want, I can provide a DxDiag report.

Cookiie: Thank you, please do.

mparanoid: I tried. It gets past the Paizo logo to show the main WOTR logo for maybe a tenth of a second, then crashes.
avatar
Cookiie: I could also recommend verifying game files, just to be sure.
Seems that I cant' attach something else than an image, so here's a link on WeTransfer: https://we.tl/t-yBSQuOy0Q3

Also, I already did as mrparanoid:
* I verified the game;
* I uninstalled it
* Deleted the C:\Users\<username>\AppData\LocalLow\Owlcat Games\<Pathfinder Wrath Of The Righteous>
* Reboot
* Reinstalled the game

All those steps lead to the same error.

mparanoid: I already tried verifying game files, as well as uninstalling and reinstalling the game, rebooting my pc, etc etc. None of the mundane stuff works. And neither does the game.
Got it.

Please check these folders for a crashdump

c:\Users\<user name>\AppData\LocalLow\Owlcat Games\Pathfinder Wrath Of The Righteous\Crashes
or
c:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\Temp\<Owlcat Games>

On my side, the folder "C:\Users\desai\AppData\Local\Temp\Owlcat Games\Pathfinder Wrath Of The Righteous" is empty.
I have no "Crashes" folder under "C:\Users\desai\AppData\LocalLow\Owlcat Games\Pathfinder Wrath Of The Righteous"

Thank you! Sent it for investigation. I am really sorry this is happening on the launch day.

Okay, seems like it's GOG overlay crashing. Please try disabling it (at In the game's library page select MORE> Settings - and search for the "in-game overlay" box and uncheck it, so it disables in-game notifications and overlay.)

I already tried disabling gog overlay (and also nvidia overlay), didn't help.

On my side, both the GOG overlay and the AMD radeon overlays are disabled, as you can see in the attached pictures.

I also tried running it from outside GoG directly from exe. Nothing.

Could you please check if it generated a new crashdump?
@Cookie: There are always issues on launch day ;)
Bad luck, this time it's our turn to face them.
Hopefully, we're just a tiny fraction (I just count 2 of us).
Also have this issue. Running on MSI Laptop: Core i7, RTX 3060, 16gb RAM. Disabled GOG overlay and still crashing.
I was finally able to locate the crash dumps on my machine here's the link: https://we.tl/t-dVfoN7IMa3

BTW, it was located in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\CrashDumps
