Hello devs,

A heads-up:

With patch 1.0.4d.01 the game fails to start . After an initial black screen, the steam store page for pathfinder opens instead.

This occurs both with steam in the background and without.

Yep, can confirm. Same issue here, presenting in the exact same way with steam opening.
Can confirm.
Good im not the only one
A new 0,5mb update was released not long ago (1.0.4.02). This update should have fixed the problem. It did for me.
Damn !
I'm crying in another topic because we haven't the 1.0.3d offline installer...
And i'm discovering here that we miss 1.0.3d + 1.0.4.01 + 1.0.4.02 offline installer !

The 1.0.3d is available for MAC user only, but it's needed for everyone... the game is impossible to complete without....
GOG is sleeping or what? No patch for us today?

Negative.

1.0.3d was for all platforms and was available for Windows users of GoG Galaxy.. I have it on my windows version of the game, before the 2 new ones today.. (Patch 1.0.4d, and then the Hotfix 1.0.4d.2)

GoG staff just never did there part to add them into the downloads page. same as the 2 updates today, only available via GoG Galaxy for both Windows and Mac users.

You think update via Galaxy went from the game dev team and updates of the offline installer went from GOG team ?
It's a real question.

The updates sent out by the Dev's are auto loaded into the GoG Galaxy update Queue.

However, the Updates have to be converted and manually added by GoG Staff for the game offline downloads pages.

That is actually some interesting information. I have assumed all the time the developers are entirely responsible for any updates.

With that piece of information one can tell its not the developers to blame for the delay of offline installers, but actually a matter for the GOG.com support staff.

Seriously?
Their installers have always had GOG plastered on it, why on earth did you even consider game devs would waste their time on that bullshit.

Shop policy. Like being forced to use a special installer packer. At my workplace we are forced to use Winzip despite 7z is much better. Something like that.
