I've been playing this game for about a week now and have just killed the Stag Lord and his friends. By this time I'm pretty sure some of the class features of certain characters don't work as intended - or I'm just not understanding the rules properly.
>Monk: In my understanding it should be possible to use a stunning strike as part of your flurry of blows, applying to your first attack. This doesn't work for me. If I activate stunning strike and then use my full attack (I tested it with and without doing a 5-foot-step before attacking) my character still only does 1 Strike instead of 3 (2 unarmed Strikes + 1 bite from me being a Tiefling).
The bonus attack from spending a Ki-Point basically produces the same issue: I use it, do a full attack (again, tested with and without doing a 5-foot-step), and my monk just does a single attack.
Also, one last curious thing: in the fight against the Stag Lord I tried to use Stunning Strike on my first Attack (again, only getting a single Attack instead of a Flurry of Blows for a Full Attack Action), used a Ki-Point for a bonus attack on my second turn (again, only 1 attack). On my third turn I just stuck with a regular flurry of Blows, where Stunning strike suddenly activated on the first hit (though I didn't get the bonus attack from my ki-point spent in round 2).
>Cleric/Bard/Inquisitor: Heal Wounds spells of all Levels require an additional standard action to touch the target. The way it is intended (at least I think so, since it's the same with spellcaster's touch spells like shocking grasp) to work is like this: Cast the spell "onto your hands" (Standard action) -> Move up to the target (Move Action) -> Touch the target (Free action) -> healing happens.
Instead it works like this: Cast the spell (standard) -> Move up to the target (Move) -> Touch the Target (Standard again??). This is true for all of the characters in my party (Jaethal, Linzi and Harrim). Also, as previously mentioned, touching attack spells work as intended.
>Eldritch Scion: Spell combat only works if I cast the spell first and attack afterwards, not the other way round. Not sure if this is a bug or indeed intended. (Also, if intended, is combat casting worth it to avoid attacks of Opportunity?)
So for all of those issues I'd like to know:
Is there a workaround? Is any of this intended, especially the Spell combat part? If it's a known Bug, can we expect a fix at any Time, or is there a Mod that's able to fix this?
PS: Don't know if it's relevant, but I'm playing on turn based mode and on patch 2.1.0h
