Odd. The patch isn't up for manual download.
Just downloaded ~900 mb and my game is described as 1.0.6+.

Dear community!
An update to the hotfix 1.0.6 will go live soon. This particular one fixes the "endlessly stacking non-specific item bonuses" problem. Bonuses should stop stacking, although your characters stats, if already affected by this bug, won't return to their normal values right now.
Next update will arrive today (right now, unfortunately, I can not give more accurate estimates). That one will return affected character's stats to their normal values.
Is this what I am experiencing with Valerie having the DR and Fire resistance from her gear being reapplied, or is this specifically about the six main stats?

Yes, each time you reloaded a game non-standard item effects (DR, Elemental Resistance, additional uses of x/day abilities, increasing one stat while decreasing another) were applied again.

So that Adamantine Full Plate increases her DR every reload, while the tower shield adds its Fire Resistance over and over.

It also seems to have affected at least one enemy type, giving them AC ranging from the hundreds to the tens of thousands.

(That's the drawback of the hotfix approach - you can get fixes out really fast to your customers, but your testing time is severely limited, which can be fine when the program is either relatively simple (this one isn't, RPGs using Unity rarely are) or you have a great automating testing suite.
It would be interesting to see the conclusions Owlcat will draw from their experience when the do their review)

This explains the ridonkulous amount of Channels Tristian suddenly has, too. :P
Ok thats weird after a GOG Galaxy restart it also shows the 1.0.6+ for me.
Strange thing is it is not shown for manual download on the GOG website. Same goes for GOG Galaxy patch history.
Last one on both is 1.0.6 for me.

Owlcat haven't put out any patch notes yet, hence neither GOG nor Steam have a changelog. I don't know if this is why the version is still the same, nor why (or if) GOG hasn't updated the manual downloads.

I was wondering did you find this info on the steam hotfix 1.0.5 and 1.0.6 patchnote page?
Because I didnt find it anywere else.
Also is there anyplace else where the devs are posting these things besides on steam?

Because i did not find somehing like that here on GOG besides your changelog sticky ofc :)
Apparently the update sizes are because they're moving around sound files.

And apparently both gog galaxy and steam should really improve their differential patching systems...

A developer posted it in that thread.

Developers most often use Steam even when they have their own forums like Owlcat do. You rarely see them in GOG forums.
