I'm glad I'm not the only one having this problem. I'd like to not have to re-install entirely so I'm going to verify first. I'll update this post when I figure this out. Mine is also stuck at 2.1.5d, and refuses to recognize any update

Edit: A quite update. The list of available versions in the update configuration doesn't even recognize 2.1.7 as even existing. As far as GoG is concerned, this update just isn't here. What's going on here

erni79: So is this normal for this game? How long do we have to wait tio get the update usually?

Grrymjo: Update 2.1.7b has been available for offline installation since the end of the previous week. Those who wanted to update the game did it; those who want to complain are complaining.
could you link where, because I can't find it anywhere. Did you even try to look before you started insulting people? Or perhaps, tell them were it is since it's clearly not obvious

Edit: You did not check. 2.1.7 is not available for offline upload on the store, or any, page. There is no sign of the update in GoG Galaxy. you just insulted everyone without even verifying your own information.

That is what I see in offline installers:

I can confirm this. 2.1.7, both normal and beta variant, so not seem to exist. I can't check on steam myself so I'll ask around. This is bizarre. Maybe the update got rolled back and the company hasn't said anything
There is no 2.1.7 "beta" version. There was the patch 2.1.7, which was rolled back, 2 bugs fixed, and it was pushed again as the patch 2.1.7b. Not beta, but "b". This is the latest version of the game.

You can check the update log on Steam. 2.1.7 was rolled out on May 20, 2021, then it was recalled on GOG and the option to roll back to 2.1.5d was added on Steam, and then on May 27, 2021 it was replaced with the version 2.1.7b.

Still no sight of it here. This pattern has become very tiresome :(

I'm currently downloading the offline installers for 2.1.7b. Sounds like it will require a full re-install. Pretty lame
Well, I downloaded the offline installers for 2.7.1b. I installed them but still GOG galaxy updated it back to the 2.1.5 version.

GOG Galaxy 2.00 is the problem. Delete and uninstall that POS software.

When you click on Pathfinder in GOG Galaxy, go to Extras and scroll down to 'Offline Backup Installers'. Make sure you disable automatic updates beforehand or Galaxy might auto-update back to 2.1.5d

In others words, not available unless you use the TOTALLY OPTIONAL bloatware launcher.

Which, basically, defeats the purpose of GOG.
Or you can go to the game in your library on this very site, gog.com, and download the offline installers from there.

Which, as shown in my screenshot a few posts up, do *not* include the latest patch.
