If you agree to help the mite gate keeper to get the spider's part, but had ALREADY killed the spider before talking to it, the quest becomes unsolvable. The corpses disappear and cannot do anything about it :(

Never mind. It was the wrong spider. Glad I don't have to kill the mite.

Is there more than one big spider boss in the caves? I found one (big gold one), killed it and it didn't drop any loot relating to the Jewelry quest. I've searched all over that damn Sycamore dungeon but couldn't find any other spider bosses. Maybe I missed something.

It is on a big dead spider, not the golden one. I mistook it as the one I needed to kill as well.

The dead corpse is right beside the Sycamore depth (2nd floor) northeast stairs I think. Can be a little hard to find, had to cast light on my character to see it.
