So I have been waiting for 1.1 to continue (or maybe restart entirely) to see if I can finish the game. I am at battling through the broken capital to get to the Lantern King, and this is still amazingly broken.

The scouts.. good god the scouts. My party is ludicrously buffed, every resist, god like gear, rediculous stats, every potion possible active and to even see if it was possible, dialed EVERYTHING down to as low as possible for challenge ratings. Enemy stats should be bottomed out and each warband will wipe my party unless everything goes perfectly. The crystal beam spam is still present, most of my tanks will get petrified almost immediately and focus fire maybe drops a single scout. Maybe.

Something is really broken though too..

Oddly my three summoned wyverns out in front, seem to do more damage, easier, and more consistently than my entire party.

I have fought my way through the first three skirmishes, burned literally hundreds of healing potions as healing spells are LONG gone, almost all damage spells are gone and I get to the edge of the map for my first door/zone to enter a building and what do I find.. half a dozen scouts (they will wipe me anyway) then a monarch that summons half a dozen more?!

Damn I love this game, honestly, but something is still horribly broken.
I just found a save/reload bug too:

I saved since I just limped through another scout encounter but all three of my wyverns are down. I restored immediate that saved game, and all three are back up and alive again.
wyverns do damage as enemies largely ignore summons. single most imprortant buff late is freedom of movement. I highly advise buying 200 scrolls of that and 200 mass heal scrolls. some remove blindness scrolls are good as well to use mid-combat. and about 50-100 res scrolls.

wild hunt is not that bad once you understand how it works. also cloaks that give immunity to blindness from master tailor are invaluable there.

Awesome advice thank you and not sure I can use it unless I backtrack saved games, but I hear you. What is nuts is everything is dialed down to easiest possible and these fights border on impossible. Scouts on easy appear to be AC 36 with multiple resists, so if you do hit them, damage is significantly reduced.

difficulty doesn't matter much when you make 15+ saves every turn. you are bound to fail some and then it just snowballs. and you don't need much AB/Damage to kill paralyzed party even on easy.

wild hunt is just mechanically that good.

ps. also take quite a bit of camping supplies with you just in case
pps. I'm in no way saying throwing wind hunt in droves at the party is good design. just saying the game does provide ways to deal with it.

I appreciate the info and have limped to the Lantern King battle.. I think the scenario may be broken as Lyrissa is there (I saved her) but is agro though her dialog is she is going to save me? I fought through all of the LKs to the dialog at the end, which dumped me back out out conversation (seemingly abruptly) and into combat with an unkillable nymph. Been attacking her for 15min now, she never goes down.
**JAW DROP**

So I reloaded and replayed the final battle again, and found one dialog option that actually works. It immediately goes to end game and the summaries make almost ZERO sense! The have all of the character histories moving forward, like Baldur's Gate 3 did way back when, nice nod. The actual content though, no doubt based on who I saved and didnt, and so on, most of it doesnt make any sense. Directions and paths for the characters that make almost no contectual sense from their info, and then poof.

Game over.

Main menu.

**jaw drop**

Wait what?

YES the rest of the kingdom is pretty much done, and very little content to still keep playing but just bam, game over? What about the module they are going to release, what about any other loose ends, anything?

I am shocked and honestly confused on how they had it end like this, especially after most of the final LK dialog options are broken along with the agro Nyssa which makes zero sense. You have to fight through the entire LK final battle again and again just to choose a different conversation option, and most are broken.

Come on guys..

Damn I have enjoyed this game but the ending is incredibly abrupt, jarring, and doesnt make sense.

ending, especially the half after the house is a buggy mess complete with half-assed game-design. they didn't fix or touch anything there, pretty much. I hope 1.2 does something about it.
