im trying to install the game on to my laptop so i can play the game on a trip im going on soon. the game downloads but always stops at usually 92% sometimes earlier. i keep getting an error e3 saying i lost connection to the gog servers, i already gave permission to galaxy but it didnt work. and sometimes it doesnt uninstall right giving me an error e15 and e9 too

this is really annoying and i tried looking for fixes but i cant seem to find anything most i saw said the game just worked

i should also add that other games download and install fine its just pathfinder king maker

any help would be appreciated

I haven't found a fix yet but a user in another thread said you can still play the game by opening the executable for the game directly. So navigate to the install directory for Kingmaker and double click on "Kingmaker.exe". That should at least allow you to open the game even though you'll miss out on features like cloud save.

I have had this same problem and I have not found any fixes. Make me sad eternally stuck on installation :(

UPDATE: good news, the offline installer works. just download it and disconnect your internet and install it.

bad news. the way this installer is compiled is disgusting. it took 1 HOUR AND 56 MINUTES TO INSTALL! but it worked.

so start it and let it run overnight while you sleep or start it and go make and eat dinner or something. as long as the game previews are still slideshowing it working.

how did you download and install the parts i got confused when i tried to look at it. when i tried to download the separate parts they were under the same file name?

if your doing it from the website technically all the parts 1-8 just need to be unzipped into the same folder, but way easier is if you have GOG galaxy installed , click on the game , then go to extras and under the offline installer heading the first file you see. ( the 24 GB one ) download that and it will download all the parts (into whatever you have set as your default download folder for GOG galaxy ) and have them ready for you ready for a double click.

I had a similar problem with the game Brutal Legend. The game downloaded to 2% and the error e3 appeared and when trying to uninstall e15. I excluded files from the antivirus as it was in Gog's help (I only have Windows Defender). I turned off real-time protection in the Windows Defender settings and it worked, the game was downloaded
