I'm new to the Pathfinder universe, what type of Loot system does this game use? I.e. Randomized (Diablo, Torchlight) or Predetermined (Baldur's Gate, NWN).

From a recent Reddit AMA, a dev spoke on this subject: Some of the simple (not valuable) loot is varied. It is no more than 10% of the loot in the game. All the great stuff is handmade and handplaced

Thanks saracoth, good news. I really dislike Diablo and Torchlight style loot. It's rare to never, finding a complete outfit with your class stats. Nothing like finding a matching chest, leg or boots as a mage with freaking dex stats! ;P
