Are Jubilosts spells (the ones in his spell book that he has to memorize) treated as mutagens? I'm trying to use his cure light wounds spell but it just auto casts on himself with no chance to use it on anyone else.

short answer is they do not. and you can learn infusion discovery to use spells in area/on party members. that actually makes alchemist uniquely useful for giving personal buffs, like shield, to others.

also jubilost has the best camping ability in the game, just as a bonus.

really though, if alchemist spells counted as mutagens the class would be even more broken than it is now.
