Okay, so this is sorta a culmination/follow-up to many of the issues I've read and/or personally observed with the game. My game is currently in a pseudo-abandoned state; I'm deciding if I should bother to restart or not (current roadblock is the dungeon I walked into, door locked behind me, no way out, no supplies left, no healing, monsters (multiple packs of 4-6 skeleton champions) are far too strong for my lvl 5 party. I have an earlier save, but my early kingdom is also kinda suffering, cause there's no information about how you cannot cancel adviser tasks, and/or really how to handle anything.
Anyway, it's clear that balance for the game is a near complete failure, with CR ratings all over the place, stuck areas, missing context, etc. I'm only a short way into the game, and most encounters are either easy or impossible, with no clue which going in. I get that it's supposed to be "realistic" (ie: you could be walking along and just get eaten by a random CR 20 Owlbear, that's how totally random works)... but come on, this is not at all "fun".
Now, it's a kickstarter game, not a AAA game, so I expect some QC issues, but this is kinda ridiculous. Any ETA on when the game will be marginally playable?
