I went and ended up killing the troll as I forgot about Ekun. The quest to tell him triggered and when I went to the ruined watchtower, he wasn't there. Not even the dog showed up. He's also not in my capital. Is he supposed to show up later or is this a new bug?

He's usually in the capital courtyard, not the throne room. Use your map.

Hey Hickory, I did check in the courtyard and the Tavern, however, he still isn't there.
