I went to end the Deal with the Devil quest and either Dog fell for a trap or a weird Confusion hit it because it keeps attacking Ekun and other teammates:

Bad dog

I tried Dispel magic on it, doesn't work. Resting doesn't work either.

have you tried clicking on the dog and giving it a stop command? something like this happens in NWN. when a companion accidently get an attack order on a freindly.

Not yet, will try. Funny thing is, he also gets spontaneously damaged with no enemies.

Sounds buggish report it...but try a remove curse also.
And verify the game files.

I had a persistant loss of controll (Of comapnions) that took a fresh install to fix...BLEH
