Dear developers,

during the quest I sided with the Hellknights and allowed them to question the citizens. After encountering Darven I asked him for a higher bribe then opted to attack him. In the Secluded Lodge I have no option to side with the Hellknights, only to fight them.

Is this working as intended? I get the feeling I should be able to side with the knights at the end but every option I choose leads to a fight.

what i don't understand is why isn't there an option to arrest either or both of them, one ignores the king that tells them not to act like thugs and again after i tell her to gtfo my kingdom and then attacks the king on the word of the criminal she is after and the other uses you gets you attacked tries to bribe and is accused of murder why cant i jail or kill them as they ressist arrest? it makes no sense.

also why is it an evil act to kill a hellknight and a murderer that made a deal with a prince of hell that have done all that?

this quest is the first thing about the game (that isnt a bug) i didnt like, its a tunnel you are forced to walk through and get punished for it

OK, turns out it's no bug, but a setup for the 3rd phase.

It was resolved after the coronation and I guess some time must pass between the lodge and the actual final choice.

Yeah, i have had red some postings, where people were not happy with this quest.
But regarding the question:

I can understand this thinking. If you kill a murderer, you are a killer, too. Its this old question, who was an more evil dictator: Stalin or Hitler? some argue, Stalin, because he killed more people. I would say, the number does not matter, a lot of people were killed either way.

Are you a good men, if you go to your neighbors house and butcher your neighbor, because he likes to torture innocent people, poison ill people and rapes little children?

... i do not have the quest in front of me, so i can only take it out of memory. But regardless that, if you call it justice, then be aware of, that even he is a murderer and made some pact with the devil: i doubt that it involves you. He did it outside your kingdom. Making it just, would be, to surrender him to the Hunter. Killing him by yourself, is not just, as you have only justification in your land. He did not break any laws in your kingdom.

At this whole quest i was rather irritated, that even after i told them to go out of my country, they did stay and did question my people, breaking into their homes to find this guy. My first reaction then would have been to declare some war to them. but this was sadly not possible.

both have tried to kill you one indirectly and the other directly in both cases i think its perfectly lawful, just and good to kill them but mostly am pissed i cant even arrest them for it

oh as for the Hitler/Stalin comparison, which of them killed only ppl that had tried to murder them? neither, they killed political opponents and random ppl they didn't like/hated for some "reason" nothing like this case, i can't even begin to understand how you thought this was in any way comparable

They gave the orders. If you are in this position and give the orders for killing people/rage some war, then you are responsible for it.
Its a bit difficult for a person to kill millions of people by himself.

what are you talking about? how does it compare with killing ppl that have tried to kill you in this quest? you are making no sense at all.

it was referring to the original point of what is evil and what not. And you were asking, why it is an evil act to kill somebody. And my point is, that it is always evil to kill somebody, doesn´t matter, what the reason for it is.

But of course, i did not had the quest in front of me, so i could not know, that the act of killing was out of self-defence. In this case i would agree, its not evil.
