Just wanted to ask - is there an issue with bonus spells per day for high ability score?

I have been playing as a Dwarven inquisitor with 20 WIS (+5) bonus and yet he still is able to cast only 3 1st level spells per day. The tooltip on the WIS score states that the high score should award additional casts per day for (among orthers) Inquisitor class. Or do I understand it wrong?

If you're level 1, that's correct:
A level 1 Inquisitor has 1 1st level spell: http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/base-classes/inquisitor
20-21 in the relevant ability gives you +2 1st level and +1 2-5th level (each) spell: http://www.d20pfsrd.com/BASICS-ABILITY-SCORES/ability-scores/#Abilities_and_Spellcasters

I ran into this too used to D&D Pathfinder gives you more bonus spells in the long game, but fewer at lower levels. threw mw off till I looked on the paizo site
