In other words there is no reason to put skill points in persuasion .
For the purposes of Kingdom Management, only the primary attribute affects anything. Honestly feels like a missed opportunity to me. You'd think things like Trickery would benefit Espionage, or the Grant Diplomat would need Persuasion, o the Magister might need Knowledge (Arcana), but nope. Just the attribute.

Agreed, definitely a lost opportunity. I suspect, though, it was decided upon because it would have involved more coding for the non-companion advisors
