Sycrus: Does anybody know what consequences there may be from completely ignoring this quest? I mean, not going alone to be ambushed by Nyrissa, or at least postponing it indefinitely?

Right now, I'm playing with a character who has been entirely suspicious of her (and rather rude to her, too) from the very beginning, and I really can't see this guy falling for this obvious trap. I understand this will likely lock him out of some choices or opportunities, I'm more worried about the possibility of breaking the game or other harsh stuff.
