Hi,

as big fan of battlezone redux i realized that parkan seems to be a good alternative. My Problem is, when i start the missions the game freezes instantly. Main menu acces is no problem, but when loading the missions, i hear sounds but dont get a picture. In other cases it starts and i see a picture, but again i cant move the mouse or do anything. My system is windows 8.

*BTW on my laptop with one core and win 7 it works perfectly, so is it maybe some problem with windows 8?

I have this same issue on Windows 10....
I have the same issue on Win 10.
I can play the 3 Player solo mission for 1 minute and then the screen locks up. It crashes faster when there are more units on the map (Autoplay mission). I already contacted support and they gave me the default troubleshooting steps, which didnt work for me, but you can give it a try :

Please follow these troubleshooting steps:
1) Please make sure that you use "Run as Administrator" to install and to start the game (right-click on the shortcut or setup file and select "Run as Administrator"). If you are using Galaxy, then make sure to run Galaxy as Administrator.

2) Please reinstall the game AND add it to your anti-virus/firewall software's exception/trusted list. Simply disabling firewall or AV software could not be enough, since some of these software are running still in background or in services list. If you are using Galaxy, then please add Galaxy as well.

3) Reinstall the June 2010 DirectX runtime package. You can find the archive file containing the 2010 package installation files here:
***

You will have to extract the files into some folder, then open that folder and launch the DXSETUP.exe file in order to proceed with the installation.

After that please download and install DirectX Web Installer:
***

Please have in mind that this will only add DirectX 9.0c to available pool of DirectX libraries, and it will not overwrite your other versions. Some games are not able to utilize newer DirectX libraries, and they require DirectX 9.0c.

4) Please update your graphics device drivers (please use stable drivers, because we are unable to support beta drivers, do not use auto-detect tool):
***

5) Your DxDiag suggest that you are using higher display resolution, which might not be supported by this game. Please change it to 1920x1080, or 1280x720. To do this right-click an empty space on your desktop, select Screen resolution. Here you will be able to change screen resolution.

Please set a more standard refresh rate (60 Hz), to do this right-click an empty space on your desktop, select Screen resolution > Advanced settings, on the Monitor tab change the Screen refresh rate to 60 Hertz.

The last step might not apply to you since im running 2560x1080@75hz.
Tell us if one of the steps worked for you :D

I cant post any links here so you will either have to contact support for those or do a quick google search.
