I'm very surprised to see that there is still an active modding community for Panzer Elite.
The version of the mods available for d/l by GOG appears kind of old. Ostpak is still being updated, and you can read about it / download it here:
http://panzerelite.yuku.com/forums/5/t/OSTPAK-Mods-und-Add-Ons.html
It sounds like you install things in this order:
1. Ostpak Complete
2. Ostpak 2008
3. Ostpak 3
It adds tons of things like longer viewing distance, time of flight for shells (badly needed) and so forth.

Nope nothing, the normal game plays only.
You need to enable the mod, using the mod enabler.
Launch Mod_Enabler.exe. Active mods are shown in the right hand window. Mods avalible are shown in the left hand window.

Brit44Aldo:
I tried that but no mod is visible in the mod enabler, I did like this:

Downloaded the mod, unziped the files, have them in the C drive on the computer in its own map, start the mod enabler, nothing there, go back to the mod and see the panzer elite game can be played from it, tried to run that game but the normal one starts instead.
Tested to move the folder with the mod to the panzer elite folder but nope not working and mod enabler dont say anything. Tested admin, compatibility nothing.
But then again I suck with computers.
You need to unzip into your panzer elite folder. If it is done properly, you will find the mod ini in the mods folder.

A picture may be easier.

Okay, tested to save the mod to the mod folder but no luck:

Cant find any :/ Unziped it to the mod folder in the game folder and the unzipping went fine.
Tested to copy the mod folders and put them next to the mod enabler, nothing again.

How I did it in 3 steps:
First downloaded the mission pack, start the file and it ask where to save it to:
http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj28/dark_judge_death/step1_zpsbfad6430.jpg

Here is the right folder for the mods in the games folders and you can see the navigation:

Here is the unzipping and after it says it unzipped it successfully:

starts the mod enabler but nothing again sigh. Help? :) What am I doing wrong?
Photobucket has resized the images so small that I can not read it.

Check the properties of Panzer_Elite.exe. The location listed is the path you need to use for installing PE3

TOrch is a small mod (28 megs). It is self installing. You could try installing that to verify that the mod enabler is reading properly.

Thank you so much! Now managed to find the right folder and managed to get results in the mod enabler, but the Torch missions mod and the 2010 missions I get a error message when I try to let the mod enabler run it:
access to an unnamed file was denied

Any idea how to solve that? Tried to redownload but still same message :/
Access to un-named file happens when the mod enabler can not return a file to it's origiinal form. It will happen if you setup a multi-player game and do not remove the *.MPS file, or add the *.MPS file to the mod before disabeling.. It will also happen if a file is write protected and you try to disable a mod.

To correct the problem, you have to find any files not changed back to the orriginal and change them manualy, or reinstall PE. Most people copy there entire PE 1.2 install to a disk or a zip file. This allows them to replace the entire install if they have this problem.

[i]
1.2.6 In the event you receive an "Access to Unnamed file" error, disable ALL mods. Then use Windows file search to look for *.mod name (mod name should be the directory name of the mod you tried to disable)(example ost would be *.ostpak) These are the files the mod enabler has left behind and are about to make your life miserable by causing you to reinstall PE. To prevent a reinstall just delete the .mod_name (example .ostpak) part. These are files that the mod enabler has renamed when the enabler set up the mod. By deleting the last extension you are restoring the file to it's original name. Do not simply delete this file unless it is a Multi-Player game map (*.mps). Adding and subtracting files while a mod is active also cause this error.

Windows 98 games like to write the HDD and new version of Windows do not like that. Try installing the game to C:/Panzer_Elite
