Hi. Just purchased PG during the big sale and have been unable to run it. Download and installation went fine, but when i double click on the short-cut icon nothing happens. When I R-click on the short-cut, my screen goes blank for a second, then it goes back to my main windows screen. I am running Windows 10. I have sent in a support ticket, but no reply as of yet. Was hoping someone else has had the same problem and figured out how to get this game to run.

I was able to run it after updating the shortcut to start it in Windows 95 compatibility mode.

I am also having the same issue. In my case on Win 10 I have tried every compatibility mode and none of them has worked. I would really like to see a step by step walk thru on how to get this up and running ATM I feel like I wasted the money.

I was able to get Pacific General to run on Window 10 using compatibility mode as follows:

1. Right-click the Pacific General shortcut and click Properties

2. Click the Compatibility tab in the Properties dialog
3. Click the Run this program in compatibility mode for checkbox
4. Select Window 95 in the drop down list
5. Click the OK button

Now double clicking the Pacific General shortcut should successfully launch the game.
