Just bought it, and when I click the shortcut icon I get the old "This application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000022) error.

I even followed instructions to change the compatibility mode to Windows 95, 98, 8 etc. etc.

What gives? Maybe it won't run on the latest version of Windows 10?

I guess I should get my money back if I can't run it.

I just bought Pacific General and it won't start or load. I do see a flash on the screen where it looks like a box is trying to appear. I have tried all compatability setting under Win10. I am using an Nvidia GTX 970 SC with the most current drivers.

Funny, installed it last year and didn't do much with it. Win compatibility mode allows me to turn on the game but then my mouse freezes in the corner. Guess maybe I'll try the other options but its unfortunate its not working too well so far.

I'm not finding a win95 compatibility mode in windows 10. Isn't working for me in XP service pack 3 that is the oldest compatibility mode option I'm being provided

Weird, got it running but lost control of my mouse. Is this running in dosbox? Can't seem to get out of it.

How can I install the game to D:\PG ? That is the Drive Letter of the DVD tray. How could Windows let me use that location? I don't want to change the Drive Letter of the DVD tray, I want to keep that the same. Could you please copy paste the exact location you used on your computer, such as C:\example. Thank you!
