whenever i try to install the game outlast it tells me to select the location of part 2 and whenever i select part 2s file place it says file not found

Have you downloaded with the GOG Downloader? It looks like one of the .bin files is corrupted, and GOG Downloader (usually) avoids this kind of issue.
I attached an image which displays the correct size of the .bin files. If yours are smaller, re-download them.
