We've uploaded a new patch called "Hotfix 1.1.4.18788" to your game shelves. Please download this hotfix as soon as you can :)

Changelog for version 1.1.4.18788:

-solves a crash on version 1.1.4.18786 (when leaving world/travelling through Doakas)

I'm getting a little lost here. Is this to be installed on top of the 1.1.4.18786 that was released a couple of days ago?

It doesn't install. Tells me I have the wrong version. I've already applied the 18786 build. Reinstalled the base game and tried again; still doesn't install.

Based on your screenshot, you might have had the wrong patch installed, not the 18786 build. It says version 2.1.3.17, but the latest patch before the hotfix was 2.2.1.20.

That would certainly explain it, and it's unfortunate because these are the only patches available for download. How do I go about getting the 2.2.1.20 patch?

EDIT: It looks like I might have the wrong base game. Even after I patch it, the launcher still says build 18736, while the installer is supposed to be 18756, right? I'll re-download it and play around with it a bit, let you know how it goes.

This is probably it... when GOG uploads patches, they typically also update the main game installer, and they don't always keep the old patches around. So if you missed a patch somewhere, you may just have to re-download the game installer, which should be updated.

You probably will still have to apply the Hotfix though, as I would guess that a hotfix is not included in the base game installer.

Got it working, and apparently you don't need the 2.1.3.17 patch to upgrade to the latest hotfix. Good deal.

Not certain, but I THINK you do have to apply previous patches. If you download what's currently available on the game page (v1.3, patch to 1.4, and hotfix) and install them in that order you should be good to go. If you have an installer that's older than v1.3, then you may have to redownload the whole installer. But you can try just downloading the patch + hotfix and see if they work.

The way they are handling these patches. I would download the the latest installer and the latest patches. It is very screwed up.
I'm up to date but it has been extremely confusing.
