First off all... i still have the 2 cd version of around 10 years old and running the game on vista 64 bit. (i did install one patch to make it playable)
I have 2 problems in Okaar:
1
Achondar is immortal? i'm using over and over again 150 hawk bullets on his head and still he is alive... reloaded the save around 20 times and still he didn't die... i tried from front of gate ... side off arena ... back of arena ... nothing helped so i needed to leave him alive after completing the objective :(
Is it a bug or is their a way to kill it?

Most important thing...
Last part before grabbing the mon is to shoot the 2 minor boulders hard enough till the big boulder comes loose and squashes into the water... but everytime when the cutscene should happen my game crashes.
How to fix this? Cause if this can't get fixed i can't get any further and need to stop playing this game :(

I'm not sure how to fix your crash problem, but I do have a suggestion as to how to defeat the Achondar.
If you speak to Kyuran about the Achondar, he should tell you something about it being near-blind but able to hear very well, and that its natural armour is almost impenetrable except for a vulnerability on the back of its head.
While battling the Achondar, stand still and it won't be able to hear you move - it should probably stop spitting fireballs at you at this point. Now, fire a level 1 or 2 LN-DUO shot behind the Achondar (this might work with the HAWK-MK8, but I'm not sure), it will hear the blast and turn towards it, giving you the opportunity to fire at the weak point on the back of its head (it turns back towards you quickly once it takes a hit, so you'll need to be firing quickly to score more than a few hits without needing to use the LN-DUO again). The HAWK-MK8 seems to be the most effective weapon against it, however it is still quite a tough enemy and will take quite a few shots before going down.

say what version of the game you use and also if use patches, oficial and unnoficial.

Same problem here.

The game crashes when the big rock video is supposed to get launched.

I have the GOG version of the game on windows 7.

I changed the sound files to get it in French.

The game also crashes when I talk to the potter guy from Talenzar.

Any help here?

Just wanted to chime in about fighting the Achondar... if you walk instead of run, it can't hear you moving and you can "sneak" around it. In fact, this is how I got past it when I played, I didn't even fight it at all because I couldn't figure out how to hurt it. Now that I know about the weak point on the back of it's head, I'll try that next time!

But walking will let you position yourself behind it if you don't have any LN-DUO ammo on you.
