502: The audio files are in the TRACKS folder with the .adp extension, but I don't know if they can be converted to a more common format. Perhaps it was a deliberate attempt to make the songs exclusively available from within the game.
It's not like "Hours..." is not readily available elsewhere and we are hopelessly dependent on GOG for a soundtrack bonus, but think about it, some of the sound files could be perfect phone ringtones or notification sounds, especially now that we are all so hyped up about Omikron again.
timotaka: At least according to Wikipedia the tracks on the album are actually rewritten versions of what is used in the game. So having the actual game soundtrack available separately would have... how should I put this... cultural value?
edit: I just remembered that I had converted some of Omikron's music myself, and dug out the program to do that. Does anybody have recommendations where to upload it so others can get it too?
more edit: Here is a link to download the ADP to WAV conversion program I found on the net. It's a simple command line executable. I can tell it works very well from personal experience. Oh, and and in case you just want the actual songs from the game's soundtrack, those are files numbered 3 and 79-86.
http://www.mediafire.com/?cxh2iqmlpdvy4ha Thanks for this...I had found that same converter ages ago (thankfully I saved the ripped soundtrack) but I couldn't find the converter again until now.
