Hey there, people!

So, this is my "Nomad Soul" collection:

http://abload.de/img/01_sammlungvkuk7.jpg

From left to right, it consists of:

http://abload.de/img/02_bowie_hours76ule.jpg
The David Bowie album "Hours...", which contains all the Bowie songs from the game (plus many more, of course), as a limited 2CD deluxe digibook.

http://abload.de/img/03_lsungsbuchdrua6.jpg
The official (German) strategy guide. Which is absolutely awesome as it's written from the point of view of Kay'l (or to be more precise: you, the player).

http://abload.de/img/04_bowie_vh1k4us5.jpg
The David Bowie live CD+DVD "VH1 Storytellers" containing a live gig shortly after the release of "Hours..." in front of a really small audience (ca. 30 or 40 people). In between songs, Bowie talks a lot about funny and interesting stuff (contains great live versions of "Thursday's Child" and "Seven").

German version

US version (limited "triangle" box)

UK version

Dutch version

So, you see I'm still missing the French "Édition Limitée" which came in a "mainboard-box-sized" box which contained (apart from the game itself, of course) a t-shirt, some high quality art prints and a bonus disc.

I'm still searching for that one. It's my "white whale", so to say...

That's impressive. It's surprising a game this old still have such gripping power. If I had to choose my favorite videogame of all time, though, Omikron would probably be it. The next tier would include Outcast, Scarface, and maybe the Ghost of Chernobyl series.
Apart from "Nomad Soul" my favourite games of all time would be... hmmm... let's see...

Thief: The Dark Project
Anvil of Dawn
The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind
Another World
Legend of Kyrandia 2: The Hand of Fate
Wing Commander 2: Vengeance of the Kilrathi
Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis
Sanitarium

.... and SO many more... ;)
It's actually quite difficult to only name a few...
Now that's what I call dedication.

Heeeey....sure, let's bump this thread. Your collection is impressive even six years in the future. Did you manage to find that french edition you needed ? I wasn't even aware there was one. And here I was proud of owning The Nomad Soul three time on DC with one sealead :p

Being a kid, I dreamt about having that game on PC, even though this digital version isn't as prestigious, it's still filled with memories.

Hey there, thank you so much for your reply! :) Yes, I found that French Édition Limitée, too!
I've taken a photo of my updated collection:

Congratulations for your collection!

Unless I am mistaken, in France, the big box looked like your Dutch version. This packaging is very beautiful and inspiring, it is my favorite. It is quite rare as it was soon replaced by Budget editions that remained for sale very long.

I have the Hours album as well, I love it.

I also had the "Édition Limitée". I remember buying it 14,99 € at the supermarket. The content was not that exciting. I sold mine a few years ago. It is very rare but it still can be found, there is one on Ebay currently. I am glad you found yours!

In the early 2000s, I started collecting oldies. I found many big boxes in the UK which were still wrapped in cellophane!!! But with GoG, I stopped and moved onto a collection of downloadable games.
