AlSeg: I was having the same problem with saved games. Couple of things I did. 1) I had galaxy verify/repair the installation of the game. 2) I changed the shortcut to run as admin.

Don't know which of those things fixed my issue, but my saved games seem to work now.
Tried this, but did not work. Should get the steam version maybe...
Apparently trying to install from the downloaded installer was a big mistake, since that can't use my old saves and broke the ability of the gog galaxy version to install at all.

Think I'll give them another week maybe, then I guess I'll refund this and give them a year or so to get the game to a playable state and hopefully get it on a large sale.

To me it seem like the offline installer is updated. The build version is different from the one I downloaded two days ago.

Was checking this up on my iPad. The one it listed by default was the Mac version...

Seems like the wrong decision to buy the game here. I dont`t buy games from Steam so this is probably a dead end for me. If nothing changes in a couple of days regarding the GOG offline version I`m going to try to get a refund.

Every time, I start a game, I have the same problem with my save-files. It is not even possible to play only one game, because it does not go on in progress, starting again and again on the same old save-file.

If they do not fix it immediatly, I can only refund and give the game back. Itis a pitty :-/
i decided to ask for a refund, will buy it again maybe IF they fix this.
To those of you that experience this savegame problem;

Do you continue a game from “Resume” in the main menu or by clicking “Single Player” and then “Load Game”?
And is manually saves also affected as well as auto saves?

I did some testing on the offline version a couple of days ago and couldn’t see any problems when I loaded manually made saves. In the testing the saves continued on the correct turns every time.

Or am I missing something?
It may not be a problem with the non-galaxy version since it seems tied into achievements somehow, but it impacts manual saves and autosaves both.

I was able to get an answer on the Steam forums that they know about this and have a fix coming soon. I figure since the refund policy here is 30 days, I'll give them ~20 after I bought it and then refund it for good.

I'd tell you, but I gave up and just refunded it by this point, don't see it in patch notes though.

Sounds like their last game didn't get all the DLC on GOG, between that and this major gamebreaking bug going unfixed for so long it wasn't encouraging.

Just to clarify, the prior game was published by a different publisher (that is to say, not us). We will be putting all DLC for Old World on GOG.
