I'm having an issue with Abe's Odysee which I'm hoping someone can help me solve. When I play the game, cutscenes will glitch and the initial image will remain "ghosted" over the cutscene. I took a screenshot which you can see . I'm not really sure why it's happening. After some searching I found [url=http://www.oddworldforums.net/showthread.php?t=18628]this old forum post where the user was able to rectify the same issue by disabling his xfire client. I'm not using any such client, and stopping any other running programs has not worked.

I'm running an i5 4590 with a GTX 580, Windows 8.1. I'm using the DDHack mod to run the game at a normal resolution.

Make sure you're not running anything that adds an overlay, e.g. Overwolf.

The only program I use like that is Steam. Was thinking that it was Steam causing it (due to its overlay), but disabling that did not work either.
Late reply, but in case anyone lands here from Google or whatever...I found any frame rate capping tools, like Nvidia Inspector will cause that. Disabling the frame rate cap stops it. Also having Antialiasing - FXAA on in the Nvidia control panel caused a similar mess.
