This is amongst my top 5 PC games of all time I love this game SO much. I never had anywhere near the issues some people have experienced though. I first bought this when it was still being developed and found the devs very helpful.

Unfortunately after they fixed some more issues with the v1.0 release, they announced the last update would be 1.08 I think so what you have here on gog is as final as you will see it.

Unfortunately the devs are no longer hosting the community forums so you would have to use internet archive to even see the old pages that had some information on how to make the special controllers and things like that. It is a real pity. If anything the forums should have stayed open for the community to pull together and make updates.

People have made new ships for example. You can easily make some simple modifications yourself like changing the playableships.txt file

I think this game is absolutely fantastic and greatly underrated. Hopefully you will get a chance to watch some videos so you can see how the play is. Sale or not for me this game was a must at the time and still is. I only wish the devs would still at least kept a forum going :'(
