* Are HP gains from Strength retroactive? For example, if I have a level 3 character with 20 STR, is that enough information to determine how many hit points the character has, or does the level at which strength was increased matter?
* When a character dies and is resurrected (whether via healer or with the spell), is there any permanent stat penalty?
* Are there any recruitable characters of "other" gender, or is the PC the only character of that gender you can ever get in your party?

Edit: Another question: Are the levels or recruitable companions fixed, or do they scale in some way? (For me, Bridgit was level 1 and everybody else I've recruited so far was level 2.)

I believe the hit points are based upon the strength have at the end of level up so if you increase strength then you'll get more HP at level up. I don't think its retroactive.

I haven't seen any kind of stat decrease with temple healers, I don't have a mage with enough INT for the spell and I don't think I have found the spell yet.

All the recruitable characters I have found have all had a gender. but I only have found 5.

I don't think the recruitable characters scale, all of the ones I found were level 2, except for Bridigt who was level 1

Hope that all helps :)

Right, I think these answers are spot on correct.

I think all of the recruitable characters are male or female.

Regarding the scaling of recruitable characters, as long as you have recruited your party by say level 4, by the time you reach higher levels it won't really matter if some of them started out at level 2. The amount of experience needed for some of the higher levels is large enough that any level differences will eventually wash out.

Thanks! And if you have more questions, I'd suggest heading over to discord.noxarchaist.com, where you'll find lots of players and developers to chat with.
