Hello everyone. I´ve encountered the following:
Today I played the game with a friend whom I gifted the the game to.

After the Fort minigame (The FPS shooter), the game froze.

We tried it again after ALT+F4 out of the game and it froze again after the fort minigame.

Has anyone else encountered this?

Hi. I have the same problem. The game freezes and it also has just scrambled pixels sometimes
will test.
Maybe Gog should use a newer or different version of dosbox?

In a video I watched the pixels looked better. Maybe try cga vs ega video card. Should probably report.
It is also listed as a problem on the DOSBOX website compatibility list.

Don't think I had this error freezing, but setting to version 3.3 may give the game 9kb more working memory, DOS 3.3 may use less than dos 6.22 in the manual the cdrom version appears to run on DOS 5.0 of original hardware (doublespace comment) Feel free to post if still freezing. These tips may work with gog version.

Was able to play a full game. used a whole different version of dosbox.

used DOSbox staging 0.8.1 zipped not installer so could put conf file in directory with program.

set dos ver. --the ver to 3.3

Used these settings for the [cpu] may work in gog version:
core = simple
cputype = auto
cycles = 500
cycleup = 10
cycledown = 20

was able to play full game to end, lost.
in the minigames where armies come towards each other was able to shoot but nothing else. -- will look over instructions...
when setting keyboard controls for us still had to use ;
in the fort minigame it was fun, was able to walk/punch... you might try cga graphics to give the game more memory

The screen emulation looks better in DOSBOX staging.
