Hi,

i know this game is rogue like. However it says you can keep advantages. I thaught it was like dead cell where you accumulates skills to go deeper. Am i wrong ?

Maybe it's because the game ask me to try a new game...

That's clearly not what he means : he means after you die. Like in a Rogue Lite (Rogue Legacy).
Certain items (Orbs) unlock new, more powerful spells, which after you found the orb, can afterwards randomly appear in the game, either in shops, as loot or on wands. These spells are a lot more powerful, I mainly found utility spells so far, but even these can devastating if used correctly.

Level 4 is very narrow with lots of tunnels and enemies that will shotgun blast you to the face without any hope of dodging.
If you found "Sea of Oil" for instance, you can use it, a HUGE amount of oil-particles will spawn, wash through the complex and wait until you go full hollywood and toss a flame in there.

Also: If you press ESC and click "progression" you'll find that everything you owned will get a glossary entry. Not exactly a big advantage, but you can look up information about spells, etc. and it will help you to make more informed decisions in future runs, as you have a reference on how to spend money, which wands/spells to keep, what perks do, etc.

Have you already found the nuclear missile? Talking about devastating, this is definitely one of those weapons :) I think I've got this from the secret under the lava lake.

Thats a nice idea. Especially in combination with immune to fire.

Yeah, I WANTED it from a random shop, but then again somebody set me on fire *cough*me*cough* while on toxic sludge, so I kinda had to rush for the holy mountain and couldn't farm money. It was a fun evening until a certain worm started to chew on said mountain and I was instakilled by an angry god right when I popped into the sanctuary. All in all, win!

But I am not stopping until I get mah nuke!

But on a more serious note, I can't remember where I unlocked the nuke... I don't have an orb for it, I think it's generally available just super-super-rare.

I didn't get a nuke before I had the orb, so I can't tell if it was available before. But if you get yours, you better have immunity to explosions... The radius of the nuke is insane :) I once got a staff with 5 or 6 nukes in it... That was fun. Short, but fun :D

Yeah, I keep blowing myself up with "glas cannon" because I keep forgetting that it specifically says "increased blast radius of all spells". Ah well, blowing yourself up is the crossfit of this game.

Oh was that what that does, I never took it as I blow myself up too much as it is. Seems like a great perk with explosion immunity though.

It is. Unless you are silly me that keeps forgetting about that part and just go the usual safe distance when using bomb :P
