Hi, I had same problem, game keep crushing with white screen no matter what. I tried to find solution here and on steam, but that seems to be rare problem, so there is no real solution. For a while I used some older version of game, which ran fine, but then I just completely uninstalled it, deleted game directory, and deleted everything from windows registry (I have Win 10) - then installed latest gog version, and it runs fine since then, no crashes or anything. Hope it will help.
