Hey everyone,

I just want to ask what kind of ship do fly and/or prefer?

My current one is a Narittor S81 in yellow with maximum amount of slots (48), three warp drives and various other enhancements. I might switch someday if I find a cooler ship...

Now it's your turn.

Have fun

Not the kind of ship I would traditionally use, but it`s quite nice, I think.

25 slots, no big deal, but I like the colour.

I find the little bubble-shaped ships to be the most maneuverable.
24 slots, biggie this time XD

Currently fly the same model as the OP (just the paint job is a little different). Maxed to 48 slots.

It's my "warp ship", which means I used to for extreme long distance travel. Spent a couple of hours yesterday to extreme farm resources and craft warp cells to get closer to the center. I went from 165.000 ly distance to just under 90.000. I'll do another session to get below 50.000 and then it's time to do a little more exploring on planets, see if they are much different from "the outer rim".

While I do that, I hope to find another nice ship to change to but ti's definitely going to be another fighter.
Because NMS is the game where size does NOT matter :) I always look out for one with the largest window.
Important on PC where you only got one view out of your ship: to the front.

For the rest: visuals aside there is no difference from ship to ship (as far as performance goes): all of them are ducks, lame ducks to be precise!
Recently I changed my gear to this. An Aikikush S61. Similar as my other one before, but it somehow looks like a X-Wing...

I do the same (more or less) but from time to time I stop on planets to look for crashed ships. Especially planets of the Gek have been proved to be a good source for this. Besides this, investigating those wrecks and dismantling their equipment can be a good source for rare minerals or expensive devices.

I'm switching ships regularly right now, but a couple back I had an awful one with a really high cockpit.

Unless I remembered to jetpack on exiting I'd take fall damage every time I got out.
I'm a fan of the fighter-type ships. Unfortunately, I've been stuck with the long ships. It seems 7 out of 10 ships I find are the long ships and I really hate how they look.

This wouldn't be a huge deal but the Transmission Tower exploit has been removed so now I'm stuck with finding one ship per Transmission Tower. It could take forever to find a cool-looking ship at this rate :(
I find anything with less than 48 inventory slots to be less than desirable. Considering most of your time is spent inside your ships hud *except while landed* you rarely get to see any visuals of it. Might as well be flying a small sized moon, though you would probably have a hard time maneuvering. I'm liking planetary exploration more than space itself, it seems when Sean decided to go caveman on procedural generation he meant it. Though space feels very empty, you still have load screens they are just cleverly disguised as warp/ftl jumps.
It's a piece of crap but it's what I fly

No longer my ship, found 5 or 6 last night.

Current ship. The inner plates look like copper in different light :)

Looks more like a crossover of a Colonial Viper and the XG-1 Starwing from Star Wars. My favorite craft in all of SciFi.
This little guy is my current model.. Think i'll stick with him.

As for purchasing ships, they're ridiculously expensive.. Saw a 43 slotter for 70 million.
