Now at 4.36.1 https://www.nomanssky.com/2023/06/singularity-4-36-1/

Probably later today or tomorrow when GOG catch up making the offline installers.

Was here to post about that but you beat me to it ;)
4.36 was released over a week ago but still nothing on GOG? Is GOG always so much delayed in updates?

No, this is unusual. 1 day late is usual, and if Hellogames releases something on a Friday we can expect a delay because GOG dont do weekends, maybe that also coincided/overlapped with 4.36.1 and so they skipped 4.36? .. idk to be honest. Maybe they have a backlog of offline installers to create aswell as NMS, I know that Everspace 2 update is also unusually late.
Anyway up I'm not giving them excuses, but occasionally this does happen with GOG :)

Well, nothing to do than wait I guess. But this really is kind of ridiculous by now :(
Yep.
Some good news may be an indicator : I have just now started receiving the update to Everspace 2 which is above a week in the waiting.

I think GOG have just been inundated with too many patches to catch up on creating offline installers for them.
So fingers crossed NMS will not be far behind.
I reckon they are waiting for the latest experimental patch to go live before releasing our update, or they would have to release patches in quick succession, which would be a bit pointless.

Just a thought.
Hello Games also does not release all updates on GOG.
Sometimes they skip updates, happend in the past.

4.36 was released June 19th, we are still on 4.34 .. its a fair bit beyond "quick succession" now.

Maybe they are working on stopping all the load lag/stutters, LOL, we can dream, maybe in another 7 years.

You might have guessed I'm getting really fed up with Hellogames PC GOG support these days.
You pre-order the game to support them,
You patiently give multiple bug reports with DXDiag/saves/screenshots for literally years,
aaaand nothing happens since 2017.

I know a good idea, we have this small indie team did a great game, lets support every platform out there and make ourselves even more stretched, leaving the state of the game for early adopters in a mess because we bit off far more than we can chew.

I would love to see this game supported/re-written by PC programming specialists (instead of generic cross platform compatible code), and maybe get rid of those PSARCs for a faster loading resource archive format too.

Because the games performance on machines which are waaay above spec for this game is just friggin abysmal.

Apparently the reception from MAC users is pretty bad right now aswell.

@Hellogames I hope you have your ears on to this forum. We thought this game would get better with age and more development, but really all we see is you adding things which repeatedly keep breaking the game. Its getting old.

Please stop with the expedition shit and get the game in a good state again, and then keep it that way. Thanks.
Oh and whoever is managing the zendesk since 2017, give them the boot, they are rubbish. I remember making one report and the reply was "We cant support bugs on machines that are less than minimum spec", this person had looked at my DXDiag and only looked at the Intel CPU Graphics processing spec, and didnt bother reading the rest where my NVidia card was listed on an Optimus machine as the Dedicated GPU. I asked for someone more competent to take a look, to which the reply was "We do not accept any bad behaviour and will not support you further" .. Blame switching to bury the exchange when it was their fault for getting it wrong in the first place. Unbelievable.
